Carqon's design inspiration came from the challenges faced by parents aged between 26 and 45, with dual income and above-average disposable income. These parents, living a luxurious lifestyle with a focus on quality and style, often struggle with urban mobility, especially in busy city traffic. The Carqon Design Team identified a gap in the market for a luxury cargo bike with features seen in the car industry, leading to the creation of Carqon.

The Carqon bike is realized with an easy mountable and demountable aluminium frame, a refined double cable-steering system, a powerful Bosch performance middle engine, and a dual battery option for an extra-long driving range. Other features include a comfortable suspension front fork, 4 Piston Hydraulic disc brakes, a 27.5-inch rear wheel, a small door in the box with a safety lock, and a lighting system with LED-strips and a LUX front light.

The design process of Carqon was not without its challenges. The biggest hurdle was ensuring a holistic design where every angle of the frame and every centimeter of the box was designed to make one compact, holistic whole.
